TERMS OF SERVICE

Plain English. Honest scope.

Last updated: 28 May 2026

By creating a RONAR account or using app.ronar.ai, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service. These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

1. What RONAR is

RONAR is a read-only personal finance and life-mastery web app. You give us read access to certain things you already track — health metrics, meals, sleep, meds, and net worth (manual entry today; bank auto-sync coming soon) — and we organize them, surface patterns, and remind you of your own goals. That's it.

2. What RONAR is not

RONAR is not:

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account. One account per person — sharing credentials is a violation of these terms and a security risk for you. You're responsible for keeping your email and password safe. If you suspect compromise, change your password and email us.

4. Pricing & billing

RONAR is currently free during early access. When paid plans launch we'll announce them in-app at least 14 days before any charge. You'll have to opt in — we never auto-upgrade you onto a paid plan.

5. Acceptable use

Don't try to: reverse-engineer the service for a competing product, scrape it at machine pace, attack our infrastructure or that of any subprocessor, submit content that's illegal where you live, impersonate someone else, or use RONAR to launder money. We'll suspend or terminate accounts that do.

6. Third-party services you connect

When you connect a bank (planned via Plaid for the US / TrueLayer-equivalent for the EU), a health provider (WHOOP, Oura, Fitbit, Strava, Apple Health, Health Connect), or any other integration, you're authorizing us to read data on your behalf under that provider's terms. Their terms apply to that connection independently of ours; in particular, Plaid Inc. is the data controller for bank credentials and operates under its own privacy policy. We're not responsible for the provider's uptime, accuracy, or pricing.

7. AI-generated content

The weekly summary, the daily "What now?" call, the proactive nudges, and the Daniel voice playback are generated by large language models (currently OpenAI) and a TTS model (currently ElevenLabs). These outputs can be wrong, occasionally hallucinatory, or out of date relative to your most recent activity. Treat them as drafts to validate against your own judgment, never as facts to act on without checking.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We can suspend the service for maintenance, security incidents, or because a subprocessor is down.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RONAR's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (zero, during the free early-access period). We're not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity — even if we knew or should have known about the possibility.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the disclaimer of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; those provisions in this section don't apply to the extent prohibited by your local law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify RONAR and its operators against third-party claims arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of someone else's rights through content you submitted.

11. Termination

You can close your account anytime: Settings → Delete account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are inactive for more than 24 months, or where we're required to by law. On termination, we delete your data per the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in-app on next open. Material changes take effect 14 days after notice. Continued use after that is acceptance.

13. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the RONAR operator is registered. Disputes are resolved first by good-faith conversation (domanado.r@gmail.com), then in the courts of that jurisdiction. If you're a consumer in the EU/UK, mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence applies on top.

14. Severability & entire agreement

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and RONAR about the service; they replace any earlier discussions.
